Seasonal lighting needs safe outdoor power (GFCI where applicable). Permanent built-in rooflines need reliable 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the controller or an Ethernet run; we don’t install new GFCIs or provide network hardware.

Some layouts require trenching, conduit, or protective routing to keep wiring safe across beds, lawns, or hardscape transitions. When needed, we’ll include it in the scope and quote it separately. New circuits/outlets must be done by a licensed electrician.

We price per fixture (wall lights, spotlights) or by run length for string lights. We’ll give you a quick phone quote, then confirm final measurements on install day. See Permanent Packages & Pricing for starting rates.

Most devices require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the install location for reliable app/voice control. If signal is weak outdoors, improve coverage before installation. (We don’t supply extenders or networking hardware.)

Wall fixtures must be hardwired to an existing junction box. If none exists, please hire a licensed electrician to add power. Once power is available, we handle the fixture installation.

You get our 1-year labor warranty (workmanship). Manufacturer coverage typically includes 10 years on Smartbright LED lights, 3 years on the power source, and 1 year on the bridge/wireless receiver.

We use outdoor-rated junction boxes, silicone sealing, and IP-rated connectors. Cheap connectors corrode in Texas humidity—we install waterproof solutions and seal all penetrations.

Most controllers require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Thick stucco, metal roofs, or heavy insulation can block signal. If needed, place the controller where Ethernet is available or use a customer-provided Wi-Fi extender.

LED diodes are rated for long life (50,000+ hours typical). In practice, professionally installed roofline LED systems routinely last 10+ years. Choosing premium hardware (EverLights Color Changing LEDs) plus proper installation yields the longest service life, especially when they are inspected and serviced yearly by a professional installer such as SA Holiday Lighting.
